"My son suffered from recurrent depression most of his 40 years of age. The whole family was struggling to find a good treatment place. After much trials and errors, he went to El Cielo in Costa Rica.
I am not in a position to speak about my son's experience but I will talk about my own.
The very first phone call gave me a feeling that I may have landed in the right place. I felt I was understood and they were tuned in to my needs and my "agenda" rather than theirs. Questions were answered clearly and directly and information was given as requested.
At some point of the treatment of my son It was suggested that it could be helpful if I join for a couple of sessions, which I did. These sessions led me to continue being there for myself.

Yet, while being in El Cielo (the Residential Centre in Costa Rica) I found a whole new dimension of being and living that enriched my life.
The atmosphere in El Cielo gave me the feeling that I was hugged all the time. I felt safe, valued for what I am at any given moments. More than that, seeing how other people, staff and clients, were treated helped me become a better person for others and most important, for myself. My perception of myself creates the would around me. This world is nothing less than the reflection of my own self and I am in a position to change it whenever and however I want.
This spiritual place has also changed my life an other ways that I have never even imagined before going there. Falling in love with the people of El Cielo and the feeling of being there, led me to move to Costa Rica and buy a property next to El Cielo. 
I am happy for the changes I made in my life and the way I live. However Looking back, I still have a difficult time believing that I did what I did.
And last but not least. I love diederik. For me, he is nothing less than an angel in a human body. He lives what he teaches. He reaches love. He is love and he treats everyone and everything with love.
