“Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved.” ~ Pooh, (A.A Milne)
To me, this distinction can be a cause of attraction towards the idea of enlightenment. Seeing my present experience as problematic, the desire to retreat into the infinite can be a solace from the unpredictabilities of life. I am in no way suggesting that one should ignore, or deny, that expansive part within oneself; just be sure it is not at the expense of what J.R.R Tolkien would refer to as an ‘unexpected journey’ in this realm of consciousness. Love, Dave
