Resenting is exhausting and so utterly fruitless. To resent means I tell myself all day that something should not be the way it is. Good luck with that. To forgive means that I have not just moved on, but recognized that what happened was exactly what needed to happen. It means that I have decided to look for the gift in whatever it is that seems to have happened. Love, Diederik
