How much does it cost?

The daily rate is $200.00 per day or $6000.00 per month. This amount includes all meals, accommodation, therapy, transfers to and from the centre and any activities done on site as well as all excursions off site including dinners and entrance fees. This rate also includes 6 private sessions with a Choose Again counsellor upon your return.

The cost of the flight from Canada varies between $600.00 and $ 1200.00 depending on the time of year and flights available. Check with a local travel agent or Continental Airlines.

When can I go?

Our program is ongoing and can be joined at almost any time depending on availability. Talk to one of the counsellors listed below to find out more regarding room availability.

Where is it in Costa Rica?

The center is on 11 acres in the northwestern part of Costa Rica near Lake Arenal. The closest airport is in Liberia. The centre is 1 1/2 hours from the airport and transfers can be arranged to connect with the international flight into Liberia.

Is the water drinkable?

Yes, we have our own water system.

Are there snakes?

There are snakes and many other interesting creatures. We live harmoniously with the wild life and they have not posed any difficulties for us.

Is the food good?

The food is wonderful and very healthy. We focus on natural ingrediants with lots of vegetables. We avoid sugars and sweets.

How long do I need to stay?

Since each individual client is working on his/her own awareness we don’t have a required length of stay. Each case would be considered individually in order to maximize a client's ultimate learning and benefit.

Can I keep taking my medications?

Although it is sometimes difficult to access feelings when drugs are used, it is always the choice of the client and his doctor what to do in the case of prescription medications.

What kind of people stay there?

Some of our clients go to the centre for personal growth and others have issues such as depression, anxiety, addictions or relationship problems. Anyone who wants to find more peace, happiness and joy in their lives would go to the centre.

Is there medical help available?

We have a close working relationship with a doctor in the next town (Tileran). Please check with your doctor or local clinic prior to departure to ensure that your innoculations are up to date.

What follow up is available?

We have two counsellors in Vancouver who offer clients both pre and post Costa Rica counselling services. The current price includes six sessions with a counsellor upon your return. In addition, there are two evening groups which meet Tuesdays in Langley and Wednesdays in Vancouver. Diederik offers a workshop and private sessions when he returns to Vancouver every six weeks.
